Every day, three Ukrainian families hear the words no parent ever wants to hear: “Your child has cancer.” Tabletochki is there for families when they need it most, ensuring treatment never stops because of war, cost, or distance.

Tabletochki work on three levels: supporting families with lifesaving medicines, diagnostics, housing, and psychological care; strengthening hospitals with medicines, equipment, supplies, and better facilities; and empowering medical staff through training that brings Ukrainian pediatric oncology closer to international standards.

Committed to ensuring that no child in Ukraine dies from cancer, Tabletochki has stood with families for over 14 years, through pandemics and full-scale war – reaching more than 8,000 children with targeted support.

Supporting families:

For a child with cancer, every pill, every injection, and every day of treatment matters. Tabletochki makes sure families never have to choose between paying for medicine and keeping their child in treatment. We cover the costs of lifesaving medicines, diagnostics, special nutrition, palliative care, and safe accommodation near treatment centers — so no child’s recovery is cut short by war or financial hardship.

Even the smallest contribution can have a big impact:

• €9 can provide a pack of antiallergic medicine to help a child tolete treatment.

• €22 can buy a course of antibiotics to fight dangerous infections.

• €447 can pay for three full days of treatment for one child.

Supporting hospitals:

Behind every child’s recovery is a hospital equipped to save lives. Two of Ukraine’s primary pediatric oncology hospitals — Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialized Hospital in Kyiv and the Clinical Center of Children’s Healthcare in Lviv — have the capacity to provide comprehensive cancer treatment to children, but they need a steady supply of essential medicines and consumables to do so.

Without these supplies, treatment can be delayed or interrupted, putting young lives at risk. Your donation will ensure these hospitals remain fully stocked, allowing doctors to continue providing urgent care without interruption.

By meeting this essential need, you give children the uninterrupted care they must have to survive.

Supporting families: | Meet Varvara — a one-year-old under Tabletochki’s care.

The youngest of four sisters, Varvara’s life changed completely this year when she was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Her days now revolve around hospital routines. If tests are needed in the morning, Varvara and her mom Oksana wake up at 6–7 a.m. If not, they can sleep in until 9–10. Since starting chemotherapy, she naps twice a day again, just like when she was a baby. Her tastes have also changed: potatoes no longer appeal, but pasta is now her favorite treat.

The road ahead is long — more chemotherapy first, and then radiation therapy starting in February 2026. Yet Varvara remains remarkably active. “I don’t know where she gets so much strength from. You can see that she’s fighting,” her mom shares.
